Talking Unlimited

Last year, Boost Mobile rocked the prepaid world by offering an unlimited prepaid plan.

Ok, it rocked my world. Lol.

Prior to switching to Boost, I was spending unjustly amounts of money on AT&T GoPhone.

At least $15/week on refill cards.

And to make matters worse, the GoPhone did not allow you the opportunity to deny a text message, so each unwanted and non-requested message quickly steals your money.

Disapponted with this unreasonable behavior, I begin researching other phone plans, both prepaid and contract.

The first that I came across was nTelos (now they have introduced Frawg Unlimited starting at $30/month but limited area), as they had plans starting at $50 for unlimited talk. Add about $10 for unlimited texting and, if I remember correctly, another $10 for unlimited data. Add a few more bucks if you have a smart phone. And the

Ah, but their was light at the end of the tunnel when Sprint introduced the Simply Unlimited plan. Everything on the plan comes with unlimited access on a nationwide level. I loved it instantly and I was going to go for my first contract in a looooong time when, unexpectedly, Boost came out with a prepaid unlimited for $50: Half the price!!

(Now, a little aside as I take credit for Boost unlimited as I wrote a note to Dan@sprint.com at the time when he had his email address on the commercial. ~Pops collar~ Lol.)

A lot disappointed with the selection of phones, I still hopped on the Boost train and I have been (mostly) content every since. Really, all I need is unlimited talk, text, and web (even though I rarely use it. Although, I probably would if Boost ever signs that promised contract with RIM Blackberry.) And I loathe the walkie-talkie feature although I can see its potential during the shopping season.

And now, I found out that AT&T is offering an unlimited gophone plan for $60. The most disappointing factor is that it only offers unlimited talk and text. If you have a nice phone, you will have to pay $20 extra to get the unlimited data plan. Boo!! The only saving grace is that the selection of phones is vastly superior, although not nearly as nice as the phones on a contract.

Oh, and p.s., in my research, I am hearing rumors that T-mobile is suppose to be coming out with its own unlimited plan.

Why is this good news, you ask???

Bidding war for our business, baby.

Who can give us the best service with the most options and nicest phone for the lowest possible price!! Woo Hoo!!!

I don't know about you, but this chick can't wait!!!

I loves me a good dog fight.

Changes

Just announcing a few changes. I'm deleting...well, rather combining a few of my blogs into one. Or rolling them into this one, if you will, effective immediately. There's just not enough time in the day to maintain them individually.

This journal will be a catalog of my thoughts and experiences outside of being a mother although, as you may understand, some of those thoughts just may occasionally cross parenthood paths. I am, after all, a Mom.

Dr. Phil goes grass roots

I know this is silly but I am extremely excited that Dr. Phil has decided to take his show back to it's grass roots!

Last years season, with its over abundance of the "Octomom" had me quickly clicking the channel. Perhaps ratings have spoken, Dr. P.?

I must admit to not even watching and we are already into day three, but Dr. Phil comes on twice a day on the CW and I happened to catch the 5 am episode and his beautiful homily "you don't need me in your face, you need me at your back". Just that quick, I was hooked again by the Dr. Phil I know and love.

Oh, and this is a random thought but I a feeling about the relationship between Dr. Phil and Robin of the old fashion love we all seek. That is to say, if anything ever happened to Robin, Dr. Phil would soon follow her into the grave. On the other hand, though, if something would happen to Dr. Phil, Robin would plan to follow right behind but life would keep getting in the way.

Anyone else get that vibe? Or maybe, it is just me???

To lazy to mystery shop

Apparently, I am even to lazy to do mystery shopping. Or, in my case, this assignment was a simple covert auditing.

Covert my hinney.

That list was 5 pages long with small type. About 250 items. It took hours.

I completed the report and promptly removed myself from the computers roster.

I'm more inclined to do work that does not require me to leave my house. And that I have no one to whom I must report. Yep, blogging is the life for me. That and, um, my side gig. LMAO. ~winks to those in the know~

I quite adore the sensation of feeling my hinney expand.

Laptop Lady

Hello, world!

I'm finishing up some work on my blogs while the kids look at me in angst. Lol. Appears I'm hogging the laptop.

Uh, hello, it is my laptop. I earned the money. I spent the time shopping for (specifically for one in RED) on ebay and elsewhere. And I found the discount code to knock 25% off the cost. And I paid for the darn thing.

And I even went so far as to declare to one and all that

"This is my laptop".

And all of that means nothing when a child springs from your loins...

Proud of Myself

I'm proud of myself. I've been working very hard on my blogs (for two days. ha!). I found two slogans for my life.

"I not spoiled, I'm just gifted."

and

"I don't mind working. I just don't want a job."

If you know me personally, then you know just how apt those descriptions are to me.

Thinking and Doing and sometimes vice versa...

Things I think about.

Things I do.

Just random.
